I made a new purée for Owen today and he loved it! This one was a bit thick for a purée but I have found that he finds it easier to eat it then. Super simple to make too!
Recipe: Sweet potato and salmon purée
(makes enough to fill one ice cube tray)
1 large sweet potato
1 salmon filet (125 g)
1 tbsp creme fraiche
Peel the sweet potato and chop it into small bits. Put it in a pan and fill with just enough water to cover the potato. Let it boil until the potato has started to go soft (5-10 minutes). Cut the salmon into chunks and add to the pan. Let it cook with the potato for 5 minutes until the salmon is cooked through. Pour most of the water out but leave some in the pan and hand blend everything to a purée. Stir in the creme fraiche.
