It is not often I cook for myself without making a baby version for Owen too. I made him some chicken stir fry yesterday which he loved. This one was not as creamy as other purées but still went down a treat! Just make sure you buy a “baby friendly” stir fry mix…
Recipe: Chicken Stir Fry
1/2-1 chicken filet
Frozen stir fry vegetables
1/2 garlic clove
Small bit of grated fresh ginger (about 1/2 tsp)
Cut the chicken into small bits and fry in a pan with the crushed garlic clove and ginger until cooked through. Add as much vegetables as you want (I used about 1 cup) and fry on a high temperature whilst stirring until done (7-8 minutes). Blend with a little bit of water and a couple of tablespoons of creme fraiche to get a smooth texture.
