Baby food: Fish Stew

Who can get enough of fish? Yesterday I made some fish stew to add to the fish repertoire. This one can get quite watery so make sure you pour out most of the water before you blend it. It is based on a recipe that we had for dinner. Just make a bigger batch (x 4), add fish stock, mustard and don’t blend it and you have a tasty “grown-up” version!

Recipe: Fish Stew

1 small carrot

1-2 potatoes

1/4 leek

100 g fish (e.g. cod)

Creme Fraiche

Lemon

Fresh dill

Peel the carrot and potatoes. Slice the leek. Put all the vegetables in a pan and add just enough water to cover. Let it boil for 10 minutes. Cut the fish into small bits and add to the pan. Simmer for another 3-4 minutes.

Pour out most of the water and add 1-2 tablespoons creme fraiche, a  squeeze of lemon and some fresh dill. Blend everything until smooth.
